Feliks Cieslak hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Tudor Bărbânță's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Traczewski was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Klement Madajczyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Czarna Staszów's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Madajczyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marian Podgoreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Marian Podgoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save FC UNIREA Alba Iulia from getting a goal against them. Emanuel Finteșteanu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Czarna Staszów's zone, Emanuel Finteșteanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arkadiusz Traczewski came out of the goal and Emanuel Finteșteanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's attentive Gigi Câmpeanu managed to snatch the ball when Wlodzimierz Wydrych made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. Teobald Szkarpiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Marian Podgoreanu made a huge save. Florin Astafiei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkadiusz Traczewski having to make a save. Arkadiusz Traczewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Bărbânță in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Tudor Bărbânță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Czarna Staszów's Ludomil Pierz. But to his dismay, Ludomil Pierz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 31st minute, Florin Astafiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute Tudor Bărbânță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Traczewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobald Szkarpiak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Marian Podgoreanu made a huge save. The supporters of Czarna Staszów booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florin Astafiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's goalkeeper Marian Podgoreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobald Szkarpiak. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Benedykt Czerner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, Florin Astafiei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Czarna Staszów the free kick. In the 59th minute, Florin Astafiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Klement Madajczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Podgoreanu having to interfere. In the 66th minute Teobald Szkarpiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Podgoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Czarna Staszów's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teobald Szkarpiak in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Teobald Szkarpiak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Podgoreanu was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. If Ludomil Pierz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marian Podgoreanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobald Szkarpiak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marian Podgoreanu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Czarna Staszów's Teobald Szkarpiak. But to his dismay, Teobald Szkarpiak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Marian Podgoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klement Madajczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Marian Podgoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobald Szkarpiak in the 92nd minute of play. There was no doubt that Czarna Staszów were the better team. Czarna Staszów's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
