Cecilio Izel started the match with the kick off. Amadeo Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Vrânceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Yaji FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jimeno Montrel to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Yaji FC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Urbano Artaldo hit a great ball. When Cecilio Izel fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yaji FC's protests and gave Cecilio Izel a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Yaji FC got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Izel. Amadeo Aguirre acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dinu Vrânceanu. Cecilio Izel scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luca Corcoveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. George Bidulescu hit a great ball. Luca Corcoveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Izel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luca Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natalio Polentzi in the 17th minute of the match. Luca Corcoveanu came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Natalio Polentzi. But to his dismay, Natalio Polentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luca Corcoveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cecilio Izel in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Traian Roşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Jenaro scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luca Corcoveanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yaji FC's Cecilio Izel got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th minute Natalio Polentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luca Corcoveanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Jenaro in the 52nd minute of play forced FC Steaua Pildesti's goalkeeper Luca Corcoveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marius Cănănău came free, but Amadeo Aguirre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Steaua Pildesti's Luca Corcoveanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yaji FC's goalkeeper Amadeo Aguirre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 68 minutes Yaji FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dinu Vrânceanu who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Dinu Vrânceanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Amadeo Aguirre quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to FC Steaua Pildesti getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Rareș Ficsinescu hit a great ball. Amadeo Aguirre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Roşu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cecilio Izel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Corcoveanu having to interfere. After 93 minutes, Melchor Estefan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yaji FC and the FC Steaua Pildesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th minute of the match Dinu Vrânceanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Amadeo Aguirre skillfully saved the ball.
