In the 6th minute, Isaias Banegas made a precise shot to the right of Abdurrahim Ankara. Valar morghulis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Loco Palermo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Abdurrahim Ankara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlitos Tevez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Isaias Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdurrahim Ankara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 23 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Unai. 29 minutes into the match, Fidel Igon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdurrahim Ankara. Valar morghulis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Igon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Oğuzhan Temizcan hit a great ball. If Raul Poz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Valar morghulis's Abdurrahim Ankara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Banegas in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to Valar morghulis getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Samet Yatman hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Valar morghulis's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Banegas came free, but Abdurrahim Ankara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlitos Tevez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdurrahim Ankara having to interfere. The Valar morghulis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Characate FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Erkut Torhan made the kick off in the second half. If Loco Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdurrahim Ankara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlitos Tevez in the 76th minute of play. Abdurrahim Ankara made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Loco Palermo sent off a good shot on target. If Carlitos Tevez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Isaias Banegas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a defensive mix-up in Characate FC's zone, Reis Okgüç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filiberto Ponce came out of the goal and Reis Okgüç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atakan Düden struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Filiberto Ponce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Valar morghulis. When the final whistle sounded Characate FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valar morghulis.
