In the last second Jerzy Glogowski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Frīdis Smukais in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Maciej Dudkowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brencis Dermans having to interfere. The corner ended in Aldis Liestiņš almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but CF Apaches's Jerzy Glogowski did a great save. Jerzy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 36th minute of the match. 38 minutes into the match, GAUJA's Frīdis Smukais sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerzy Glogowski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 39th minute, Przemyslaw Lagiewniki hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 40th minute of play forced CF Apaches's goalkeeper Jerzy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Rinalds Brencsons got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, GAUJA's Edgars Rupeneits got a free kick in the 47th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in CF Apaches's zone, Frīdis Smukais stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerzy Glogowski came out of the goal and Frīdis Smukais tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Frīdis Smukais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Jerzy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, CF Apaches's goal looked a bit too open when Frīdis Smukais came free, but Jerzy Glogowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frīdis Smukais sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rinalds Brencsons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jerzy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When GAUJA's Frīdis Smukais in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CF Apaches's goalie prevented a goal. CF Apaches's Jerzy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 73rd minute of play. 74 minutes into the game, GAUJA's Frīdis Smukais nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerzy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Frīdis Smukais received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jerzy Glogowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Frīdis Smukais in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Glogowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerzy Glogowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frīdis Smukais in the 87th minute of play. CF Apaches's Jerzy Glogowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frīdis Smukais in the 88th minute of play. The supporters of CF Apaches booed when GAUJA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herberts Mendziņš didn't get a good kick on the ball. GAUJA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aldis Liestiņš in the 97th minute. After taking down the ball on GAUJA's corner Aldis Liestiņš fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerzy Glogowski quite easily take care of the ball.
