SV Wissenkerke's Sjors Breugel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Josué Luz in the 35 minute of the game. The supporters of E.C Vera Cruz booed when SV Wissenkerke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carel Drent didn't get a good kick on the ball. Délio Toscano charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Délio Toscano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Délio Toscano hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The E.C Vera Cruz players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SV Wissenkerke were winning 0-4.

SV Wissenkerke's Freek Lange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emerson Cruz, made in the 78th minute of the game. 83 minutes into the game, Mirko Boezem recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Fontes. Mirko Boezem showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7.
