After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Victor Itzaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Punta Alvear's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Itzaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldemar Klimkiewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Punta Alvear booed when ACR SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Zjawin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Punta Alvear's Danilo Jaume broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. ACR SA's Waldemar Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Terciero in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teobaldo Terciero in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Waldemar Klimkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Punta Alvear's Danilo Jaume got a free kick in the 17th minute. Tadeusz Cuber hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. ACR SA's Waldemar Klimkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Terciero in the 20th minute of play. Jurand Hajduk hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Terciero in the 21st minute of play forced ACR SA's goalkeeper Waldemar Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Terciero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Waldemar Klimkiewicz. ACR SA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Terciero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Victor Itzaina scored 0-2 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Waldemar Klimkiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 37 minutes into the match, ACR SA's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Terciero came free, but Waldemar Klimkiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Terciero in the 40th minute of play forced ACR SA's goalkeeper Waldemar Klimkiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Waldemar Klimkiewicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jacek Literski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teobaldo Terciero was the one to do the kick off. Waldemar Klimkiewicz was a little too slow when Christian Licerio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. 55 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Terciero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Waldemar Klimkiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Punta Alvear defense, Marian Debowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Rubio. The Punta Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Rubio should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute Jacek Literski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Israel Rubio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Jacek Literski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Israel Rubio. Punta Alvear's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacek Literski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Israel Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olgierd Tusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The ACR SA fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when ACR SA's Olgierd Tusk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jacek Literski hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Jacek Literski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor Itzaina took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waldemar Klimkiewicz. Waldemar Klimkiewicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Christian Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Terciero notched a goal, 3-6, to the right of ACR SA's Waldemar Klimkiewicz. Waldemar Klimkiewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Punta Alvear defense, Olgierd Tusk kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Israel Rubio. The Punta Alvear fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Israel Rubio should have stopped the shot. Punta Alvear's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
