The SS SuperSonics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Bambang Bamba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Pontes. Goianésia E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bambang Bamba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The audience was convinced that Bambang Bamba's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sérgio Pontes was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Goianésia E.C's Sérgio Pontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bambang Bamba in the 15th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Goianésia E.C got a freekick which was hit by Guga Paraíba. Mikolaj Degutis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sérgio Pontes made a huge save. In the 22nd minute, Bambang Bamba made a precise shot to the right of Sérgio Pontes. Goianésia E.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Sérgio Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bambang Bamba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bambang Bamba succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 6-0 in the 40th playminute. Bambang Bamba had several of the Goianésia E.C's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 43 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 7-0 score and a disappointed Sérgio Pontes as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sérgio Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bambang Bamba in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cauan Neiva was the one to do the kick off. When Bambang Bamba came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the SS SuperSonics fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bambang Bamba couldn't finish the play. Bambang Bamba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ganga Banga scored 9-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sérgio Pontes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Ganga Banga notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of Goianésia E.C's Sérgio Pontes. Sérgio Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the match, Ganga Banga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sérgio Pontes. Goianésia E.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ganga Banga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. After having played for 92 minutes, Ganga Banga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SS SuperSonics's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ganga Banga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, SS SuperSonics's Ganga Banga made it 13-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Pontes was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. SS SuperSonics had won after a very even match.
