The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fidel Polentzi was the one to do the kick off. Teofilo Maraman didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 54th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER's zone, Silvio Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicasio Mendebal in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teofilo Maraman prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
