The audience was convinced that Paulo Quadros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stefaan Van Hoyveldt was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Caiado, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute of the match Maurício Freire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 24 minutes into the game, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Paulo Quadros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 31 minutes into the match, Leandro Marega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefaan Van Hoyveldt. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leandro Marega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Mendes in the 36th minute of play. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Marega in the 38th minute of the match. 39 minutes into the match, Vasco Caiado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stefaan Van Hoyveldt. SK Gullegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vasco Caiado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leandro Marega in the 44th minute of play. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vasco Caiado, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Paulo Quadros made the kick off in the second half. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Mário Mendes sent off a good shot on target. Amílcar Mourinho charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amílcar Mourinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sabadim Harammes PRD getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Amílcar Mourinho hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Leandro Marega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefaan Van Hoyveldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leandro Marega in the 69th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Maurício Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stefaan Van Hoyveldt. Maurício Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Albertus Reijdams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Inácio Cortez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Albertus Reijdams had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inácio Cortez. Sabadim Harammes PRD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Albertus Reijdams was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. SK Gullegem's Stefaan Van Hoyveldt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save SK Gullegem from getting a goal against them. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Stefaan Van Hoyveldt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sabadim Harammes PRD played a much better game than SK Gullegem and deserved their victory. The SK Gullegem players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
