When Hafriz Hock came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the NFH Family United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hafriz Hock couldn't finish the play. 13 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's Hafriz Hock sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inácio Cortez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 15th match minute, Sabadim Harammes PRD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Couto to maneuver through the defense. NFH Family United's Shahron Lum proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save NFH Family United from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Shahron Lum successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hafriz Hock to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inácio Cortez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steven Wenyong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, NFH Family United's Shahron Lum got control of the ball when Mário Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Leandro Marega notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of NFH Family United's Shahron Lum. Shahron Lum was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sabadim Harammes PRD's Inácio Cortez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steven Wenyong in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Steven Wenyong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The supporters of NFH Family United booed when Sabadim Harammes PRD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vasco Caiado didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Paulo Quadros left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sabadim Harammes PRD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Fernando Couto hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sabadim Harammes PRD's zone, Danish Ching stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inácio Cortez came out of the goal and Danish Ching tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 minutes, Mário Mendes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabadim Harammes PRD and the NFH Family United players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mário Mendes hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Shahron Lum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Paulo Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. A collision led to NFH Family United getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Prime Hsi hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Mário Mendes came free, but Shahron Lum reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mário Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Shahron Lum having to interfere. Danish Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Shahron Lum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Quadros, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched NFH Family United eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
