A collision led to Atlético Arenillas getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Wellington Piñeiro hit a great ball. Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Urdin in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Jeremias Azeari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Atlético Arenillas's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Lluques came free, but Roman Barrufet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Enekoitz was a little too slow when Pinto Anda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 15th minute. The score was now 1-0. Roman Barrufet came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Globalización's Melquiades Lluques. But to his dismay, Melquiades Lluques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pinto Anda in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alvaro Enekoitz saved Globalización from getting behind. Roman Barrufet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 played minutes Atlético Arenillas got a freekick which was hit by Xzaver Garival. Roman Barrufet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Azeari in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Atlético Arenillas got a freekick which was hit by Pinto Anda.

In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Villegas Buzon hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Melquiades Lluques sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Azeari in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Barrufet saved Atlético Arenillas from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Urdin in the 64th minute of play forced Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Arenillas's Roman Barrufet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Urdin in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Lia in the 76th minute of play forced Atlético Arenillas's goalkeeper Roman Barrufet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roman Barrufet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Lia, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Roman Barrufet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Melquiades Lluques went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Xzaver Garival kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Globalización played a much better game than Atlético Arenillas and deserved their victory. The Atlético Arenillas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
