In the 13th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Miranda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when Liverpool F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. 姚响明 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 毛荣彬 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Miranda in the 27th minute. After 29 played minutes MZ Fénix got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Severiano. 毛荣彬 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Bernardes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 毛荣彬 was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hugo Bernardes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 35 minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hugo Bernardes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Liverpool F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 邵荣庭. Hugo Bernardes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 毛荣彬 having to interfere. MZ Fénix's Zarco Bandeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 徐挺光 in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Hugo Bernardes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Liverpool F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Bernardes came free, but 毛荣彬 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st play minute 徐挺光 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zarco Bandeira. 2-1. MZ Fénix's Zarco Bandeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 徐挺光 in the 77th minute of play. Hugo Bernardes took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 毛荣彬. 毛荣彬 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 90 minutes into the game, Hugo Bernardes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. 毛荣彬 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zarco Bandeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 徐挺光 in the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, MZ Fénix could leave the field as winners, despite Liverpool F.C. having more of the ball for most of the match.
