Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) MZ Rapid's Nicolae Boroneanț started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. MZ Rapid's Maxim Buhuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulvahit Talat in the 4th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Cristian Ficsinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdulvahit Talat in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxim Buhuș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MZ Rapid's Mihăiţă Sitaru got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abdulvahit Talat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. MZ Rapid's Maxim Buhuș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save MZ Rapid from getting a goal against them. 28 minutes into the match Sinan Ağaoğlu climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Maxim Buhuș. Maxim Buhuș acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Yağız Fidan. MZ Rapid's Maxim Buhuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdulvahit Talat in the 38th minute of play. Abdulvahit Talat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Maxim Buhuș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihăiţă Sitaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Ediz Tanbek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 minutes, Mihăiţă Sitaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MZ Rapid and the Geçkinli players grew even worse after the yellow card. 45 minutes into the game, MZ Rapid's Nicolae Boroneanț nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
51 minutes into the match, Geçkinli's Abdulvahit Talat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maxim Buhuș narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maxim Buhuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulvahit Talat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sinan Ağaoğlu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55thth minute of the game Abdulvahit Talat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Rapid's Maxim Buhuș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 56th minute, Marian Domnescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxim Buhuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sinan Ağaoğlu in the 57th minute of play. In the 58th minute Sinan Ağaoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Buhuș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sinan Ağaoğlu struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Maxim Buhuș didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Geçkinli. If Mihăiţă Sitaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdulvahit Talat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Buhuș having to interfere. After 67 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Marian Domnescu. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Rapid's zone, Abdulvahit Talat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Buhuș came out of the goal and Abdulvahit Talat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 69 played minutes, Geçkinli's Yağız Fidan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxim Buhuș came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Geçkinli reached it. Maxim Buhuș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abdulvahit Talat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th match minute, Geçkinli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göksel Umar to maneuver through the defense. Mihăiţă Sitaru took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Ediz Tanbek. Mehmet Ediz Tanbek dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. A collision led to Geçkinli getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sinan Ağaoğlu hit a great ball. The supporters of Geçkinli booed when MZ Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Sitaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Boroneanț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Abdulvahit Talat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The MZ Rapid players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Geçkinli from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
