Queluzito's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Catalonia the free kick. In the 47th minute, Fabinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cyryl Okraszewski to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Carlos Augusto Lira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. David Villa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Hermínio Cunha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edgar Rzeszutko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. After a rather tough play, Queluzito's Kauã do Vale got a free kick in the 77th minute. Josué Damião sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 83 played minutes FC Catalonia got a freekick which was hit by Rafal Buczko. 88 minutes into the match, FC Catalonia's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Augusto Lira came free, but Edgar Rzeszutko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgar Rzeszutko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Josué Damião in the 91st minute of the match. Queluzito walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
