The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Domingos Peter to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Gregorio Carlomagno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Pouliotte was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Sixto Etxeberri's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Machine Gun Kelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AFC Richmond the free kick. After 68 played minutes Machine Gun Kelly got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Domiku. AFC Richmond's Lupe Titus got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimeno Fanuco's late challenge caught a AFC Richmond's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Sixto Etxeberri got a free kick in the 92nd minute. AFC Richmond's Jeff Haywood got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Machine Gun Kelly's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
