Nadir Hallaçoğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thomas Sørensen went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Wilfred Bonsu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, H E P T A N's Oğuzhan Mesut dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 15th minute, Oğuzkan Kose got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christopher Mailykke came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by H E P T A N's Ferdi Teren. But to his dismay, Ferdi Teren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Oğuzhan Mesut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilfred Bonsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esbjerg fB's Wilfred Bonsu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Christopher Mailykke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aykutalp Akergin in the 29th minute of play. Aytunç Üstündağ's late challenge caught a Esbjerg fB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aytunç Üstündağ helped the player get up and apologised. Aytunç Üstündağ kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Christopher Mailykke was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Ferdi Teren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferdi Teren really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. In the 38th minute, H E P T A N's Oğuzkan Kose ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Christopher Mailykke. Christopher Mailykke yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. Oğuzkan Kose didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 6-1 via right post in the game's 42nd minute. H E P T A N's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! The supporters of H E P T A N booed when Esbjerg fB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Sørensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oğuzkan Kose was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ferdi Teren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christopher Mailykke was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ferdi Teren in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christopher Mailykke saved Esbjerg fB from getting behind. Gürbüz Onursoy took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Christopher Mailykke. Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzkan Kose in the 61st minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Christopher Mailykke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christopher Mailykke showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdi Teren in the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute Oğuzkan Kose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Mailykke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oğuzkan Kose took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Christopher Mailykke. Christopher Mailykke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdi Teren in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christopher Mailykke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christopher Mailykke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aykutalp Akergin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christopher Mailykke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oğuzhan Mesut went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzkan Kose in the 79th minute of play forced Esbjerg fB's goalkeeper Christopher Mailykke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Thomas Sørensen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nadir Hallaçoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christopher Mailykke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzkan Kose, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute.
