Sport Club Mavericks were awarded a corner in the 23th minute after Knight Of Dawn's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edson Mattos took the corner. When Juvenal Castro came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sport Club Mavericks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juvenal Castro couldn't finish the play. Rogério Cean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Boni went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Albino Eriz fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Knight Of Dawn's protests and gave Albino Eriz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Eriz to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. The Knight Of Dawn players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. In the 67th minute, Sport Club Mavericks's Juvenal Castro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Knight Of Dawn's Albino Eriz got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Albino Eriz off the ground. Rogério Cean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Abel in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Knight Of Dawn's goalkeeper Emiliano Guillelmus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dráusio Santos. Nunez Tonio kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Dráusio Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sport Club Mavericks's supporters rose to their feet, but Dráusio Santos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Guillelmus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st match minute, Knight Of Dawn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fausto Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. Juvenal Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Emiliano Guillelmus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sport Club Mavericks played a much better game than Knight Of Dawn and deserved their victory. The Knight Of Dawn players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
