Pawel Zabrzeski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Heggert went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 9 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Martin Hedberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Solibieda. After 11 played minutes KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ got a freekick which was hit by Zbyszek Solibieda. In the 13th match minute, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zbyszek Solibieda to maneuver through the defense. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gottfrid Heggert in the 21st minute of play. After 26 played minutes, SSC Ambrosini's Gabriel Bäckström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pawel Zabrzeski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SSC Ambrosini reached it. In the 27th minute, Olof Ersman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SSC Ambrosini fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Olof Ersman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Pawel Zabrzeski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Forssell in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of SSC Ambrosini booed when KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stefan Rutkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pawel Zabrzeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olof Ersman in the 39th minute of the match. Pawel Zabrzeski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gottfrid Heggert, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bogdan Siekierski to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ booed when SSC Ambrosini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalle Sjöö didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gottfrid Heggert took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pawel Zabrzeski. Pawel Zabrzeski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Lisewski in the 59th minute of play forced SSC Ambrosini's goalkeeper Martin Hedberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olof Ersman kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, SSC Ambrosini's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Lisewski came free, but Martin Hedberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olaf Gotfryd fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Hedberg having to interfere. Joel Forssell's late challenge caught a KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Forssell helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SSC Ambrosini getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Joel Forssell hit a great ball. 73 minutes into the game, Gottfrid Heggert cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Pawel Zabrzeski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pawel Zabrzeski made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Per-Arne Delin sent off a good shot on target. KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Pawel Zabrzeski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olof Ersman in the 82nd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, SSC Ambrosini's Olof Ersman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pawel Zabrzeski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After some careless play in the SSC Ambrosini defense, Maciej Lisewski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Hedberg. The SSC Ambrosini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Hedberg should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, KOZIOŁKI KKS POZNAŃ's Stefan Rutkowski got a free kick in the 95th minute. The SSC Ambrosini players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
