The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Halis Songurhan during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Bengt Stålman came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Mountainhammer United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Stålman couldn't finish the play. In the 13th match minute, Basmane Texas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anıl Müjdat to maneuver through the defense. When Michael Käcker came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Mountainhammer United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Käcker couldn't finish the play. Victor Hellkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ahmet Erdem Darga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergen Özgurcan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Victor Hellkvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ahmet Erdem Darga. Basmane Texas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaplan Şerif in the 30th minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mountainhammer United getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Sonny Brogren hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Kaplan Şerif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Alebeck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Basmane Texas got a freekick which was hit by Oğuzalp Nurbaki. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaplan Şerif in the 37th minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaplan Şerif in the 41st minute of the match. The supporters of Mountainhammer United booed when Basmane Texas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oğuzalp Nurbaki didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Michael Käcker was the one to do the kick off. Martin Alebeck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oğuzalp Nurbaki's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Mountainhammer United's Martin Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oğuzalp Nurbaki in the 64th minute of play. Oğuzalp Nurbaki took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Alebeck. Martin Alebeck dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Doğa Hüdayioğlu made a great header on Basmane Texas's corner, it was just that Mountainhammer United's Martin Alebeck managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 74th minute of the match Anıl Müjdat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Alebeck skillfully saved the ball. Martin Alebeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oğuzalp Nurbaki, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oğuzalp Nurbaki in the 82nd minute of play forced Mountainhammer United's goalkeeper Martin Alebeck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mountainhammer United's goal looked a bit too open when Kaplan Şerif came free, but Martin Alebeck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Hellkvist hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Martin Alebeck came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Basmane Texas's Oğuzalp Nurbaki. But to his dismay, Oğuzalp Nurbaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Oğuzalp Nurbaki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Alebeck having to interfere.
