The crowd rose to their feet as Olympique Fribourg's Scipio Hulliger slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of M. Andik Wilmansyah. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Olympique Fribourg's Scipio Hulliger got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Bruno Steiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Putra Rewulu's M. Andik Wilmansyah was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. M. Andik Wilmansyah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Steiner in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Paolo Bur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wawan Hidayat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the match, Bruno Steiner had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of M. In the 98th minute of the match Matthias Bettinelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but M. Andik Wilmansyah showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The Olympique Fribourg players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
