Remedios SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anjullan AFC the free kick. After 15 played minutes Remedios SC got a freekick which was hit by Amauri Souza. In the 17th minute, Roman Donzel made a precise shot to the right of Frank da Mata. Remedios SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 20thth minute of the game Angelo Uxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Remedios SC's Frank da Mata was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Remedios SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Frank da Mata should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roman Donzel was the one to do the kick off. Vinícius Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vinícius Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Remedios SC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Anjullan AFC fully deserved thier win.
