William de Sousa hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10thth minute of the game Rune Furu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quandus's João Augusto Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oddvar Lysne made an important save on a dangerous shot by William de Sousa in the 20th minute. The supporters of Quandus booed when EMhawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tor-Henrik Vedøy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oddvar Lysne stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dalmo da Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After 23 played minutes Quandus got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Leão. After 25 played minutes EMhawks got a freekick which was hit by Ole-Gunnar Hægeland. After 30 minutes of play, EMhawks's Tor-Arne Holvik made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Augusto Quirino was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes Quandus got a freekick which was hit by William de Sousa. Rune Furu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Augusto Quirino having to make a save. Quandus's João Augusto Quirino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor-Arne Holvik in the 45th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Rune Furu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Jan Schjølberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Augusto Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Christian Sikveland fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EMhawks's protests and gave Christian Sikveland a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd match minute, EMhawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Sikveland to maneuver through the defense. 54 minutes into the match, EMhawks's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo da Fonseca came free, but Oddvar Lysne reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, EMhawks's Rune Furu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. João Augusto Quirino made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Tor-Arne Holvik sent off a good shot on target. In the 76th minute, Jan Schjølberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. João Augusto Quirino was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Rune Furu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rune Furu really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 87 minutes into the match, Quandus's goalkeeper João Augusto Quirino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tor-Arne Holvik. Rune Furu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Augusto Quirino having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Tor-Arne Holvik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Augusto Quirino was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. EMhawks played a much better game than Quandus and deserved their victory. The Quandus players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
