Bob van der Werff started the match with the kick off. With 3 minutes on the clock, Feyyaz Özdeş commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Fabian Meinders shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Rakı Sevenler FC's Alptuğ Hepyener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfried Stevens in the 13th minute of play. Şamil Salti might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomas Hoogsteen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şamil Salti ran back to his position shaking his head. 23 minutes into the match, Rakı Sevenler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bob van der Werff came free, but Alptuğ Hepyener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Snijders. After some careless play in the Rakı Sevenler FC defense, Leon van der Vaart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alptuğ Hepyener. The Rakı Sevenler FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alptuğ Hepyener should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronald Snijders in the 35th minute of play forced Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Alptuğ Hepyener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Wilfried Stevens hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thomas Hoogsteen made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Şamil Salti sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th minute, Leon van der Vaart left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASV Muziekwijk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2.

The wind increased when Şamil Salti made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Ronald Snijders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ASV Muziekwijk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronald Snijders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bob van der Werff in the 60th minute of play forced Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper Alptuğ Hepyener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alptuğ Hepyener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon van der Vaart, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of Rakı Sevenler FC booed when ASV Muziekwijk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronald Snijders didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Ronald Snijders got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Thomas Hoogsteen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şamil Salti in the 74th minute of play. Fabian Meinders's late challenge caught a Rakı Sevenler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Meinders helped the player get up and apologised. 74 minutes into the game, one of ASV Muziekwijk:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rakı Sevenler FC a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Batıkan Kaymaz, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ASV Muziekwijk's Thomas Hoogsteen. 1-2. Alptuğ Hepyener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob van der Werff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Geerts hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Wilfried Stevens got a free kick in the 94th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Rakı Sevenler FC's Batıkan Kaymaz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Rakı Sevenler FC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Bülent Korkmaz hit a great ball. Fabian Meinders took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 98th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alptuğ Hepyener. Rakı Sevenler FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The ASV Muziekwijk players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
