Tạ 张森国 charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tạ 张森国 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 5th minute of the match Xencio Rubayo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 宋林升 skillfully saved the ball. 王耀斐's late challenge caught a INGOBERNABLE F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 王耀斐 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 7th match minute, 浦江棋王联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 王耀斐 to maneuver through the defense. Marques Enderica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 宋林升 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. 宋林升 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramírez Aceves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 浦江棋王联队 getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. 狄凌星 hit a great ball. 22 minutes into the match, INGOBERNABLE F.C's goal looked a bit too open when 贺卫青 came free, but Mina Sañudo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mina Sañudo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 贺卫青, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the game, Tạ 鲁建南 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Mina Sañudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mina Sañudo came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by 浦江棋王联队's 卓崇棋. But to his dismay, 卓崇棋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When 贺卫青 fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 浦江棋王联队's protests and gave 贺卫青 a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, INGOBERNABLE F.C's Ramírez Aceves got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

浦江棋王联队's Tạ 洪正乐 got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mina Sañudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tạ 鲁建南, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 宋林升 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xencio Rubayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute Marques Enderica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 宋林升 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The 浦江棋王联队 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 浦江棋王联队 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
