Dieguinho de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Valente in the 6th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tio Patinhas's Dorival da Silva got a free kick in the 7th minute. Dieguinho de Sousa came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Placido Abaunza. But to his dismay, Placido Abaunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Oséas Queirós put in a rough tackle. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Utopía Muerta FC. Fidel Valente stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dieguinho de Sousa. 0-2. Fidel Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Tio Patinhas's Dieguinho de Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fidel Valente in the 26th minute of play. Dieguinho de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Placido Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Lucero to maneuver through the defense. Utopía Muerta FC's Teo Librado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Utopía Muerta FC from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Tarcisio Gaúcho in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Utopía Muerta FC's Jonas Socorro. In the 41st minute, Fidel Valente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Utopía Muerta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Abaunza made a kick off. Utopía Muerta FC made a substitution. Uriel Beat replaced Placido Abaunza. An unexpectedly hard shot by Uriel Beat in the 62nd minute of play forced Tio Patinhas's goalkeeper Dieguinho de Sousa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 64 minutes, Jânio Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tio Patinhas and the Utopía Muerta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jânio Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 65 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Souza. Dieguinho de Sousa acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 66th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ruperto Cayo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Socorro got free with Dieguinho de Sousa in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jânio Souza hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The Utopía Muerta FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Utopía Muerta FC's Fidel Valente looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Uriel Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Socorro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dieguinho de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Beat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Utopía Muerta FC's Fidel Valente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dieguinho de Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. When the final whistle sounded Utopía Muerta FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tio Patinhas.
