In the 12th minute Luisito Udalaitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Dorival da Silva. Dieguinho de Sousa didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Centeno's Elpidio Ostargi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Joélson Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tio Patinhas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joélson Leme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicanor Espiridion could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Dieguinho de Sousa made a huge save. The Centeno fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Centeno's Elpidio Ostargi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the game, Nicanor Espiridion cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Dieguinho de Sousa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Espiridion struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Dieguinho de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centeno. Julio Senio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joélson Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Espiridion did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Dieguinho de Sousa 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joélson Leme stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Eusebio Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes Tio Patinhas got a freekick which was hit by Tarcisio Gaúcho. Egídio Soeiro hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes into the match, Tio Patinhas's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Dodorol came free, but Dieguinho de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Elpidio Ostargi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dieguinho de Sousa. Tio Patinhas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elpidio Ostargi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. After a rather tough play, Tio Patinhas's Egídio Soeiro got a free kick in the 71st minute. In the 76th match minute, Tio Patinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oséas Queirós to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the match, Centeno's goalkeeper Julio Senio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Leme. Joélson Leme charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joélson Leme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eusebio Dodorol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dieguinho de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dieguinho de Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Espiridion in the 91st minute of play. Luisito Udalaitz took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dieguinho de Sousa. Dieguinho de Sousa dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. When the referee ended the match the Centeno players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
