In the 3rd match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Socorro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 4 minutes, Braulio Guipuzkoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Margarita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Braulio Guipuzkoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Placido Abaunza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isidro Botello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Isidro Botello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fidel Valente's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Fidel Valente put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Isidro Botello. The supporters of Margarita booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Socorro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teo Librado didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 17th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. In the 20th minute, Jonas Socorro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Fidel Valente cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Isidro Botello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Margarita booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fidel Weather didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isidro Botello came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Fidel Valente. But to his dismay, Fidel Valente quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Isidro Botello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fidel Valente went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. After 46 played minutes Utopía Muerta FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Lucero. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

Omar Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teo Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teo Librado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Montes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Margarita booed when Utopía Muerta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Gaskon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnaldo Ugutz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Librado having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dario Hartz during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Margarita made a substitution. Alonzo Atarratze replaced Arnaldo Ugutz. In the 79th match minute, Utopía Muerta FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Hartz to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Utopía Muerta FC's Angelo Gaskon got a free kick in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Utopía Muerta FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualterio Romo came free, but Teo Librado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Omar Montes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Margarita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-6. In the 92nd minute, Evelio Oliverios hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Margarita's zone, Ruperto Cayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Botello came out of the goal and Ruperto Cayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 95 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Oliverios. Dario Hartz was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Utopía Muerta FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
