Spectators: 147 (Terracing: 111, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicanor Espiridion started the match with the kick off. Frédson Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Espiridion's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. Franklin Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Julio Senio made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Nicanor Espiridion had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Frédson Freire. Xiboquinha FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicanor Espiridion was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 17th match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Dodorol struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Frédson Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centeno. After a rather tough play, Centeno's Leonardo Nardo got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Hélio Meireles made a precise shot to the right of Julio Senio. Centeno's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 27 minutes into the game, Eusebio Dodorol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Frédson Freire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Nicanor Espiridion recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Espiridion in the 35th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Frédson Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Modesto Lugo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Frédson Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Centeno. After a rather tough play, Xiboquinha FC's Duda Veiga got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Espiridion in the 45th minute of play forced Xiboquinha FC's goalkeeper Frédson Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Meireles was the one to do the kick off. Leonardo Nardo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Espiridion in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frédson Freire saved Xiboquinha FC from getting behind. Nicanor Espiridion hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Luisito Udalaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. With a little luck, Xiboquinha FC's Frédson Freire got control of the ball when Nicanor Espiridion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cláudio Ramalho's late challenge caught a Centeno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cláudio Ramalho helped the player get up and apologised. In the 63rd minute, Cláudio Ramalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frédson Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebio Dodorol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frédson Freire came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Centeno's Nicanor Espiridion. But to his dismay, Nicanor Espiridion quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. 81 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís Paes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Xiboquinha FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Centeno the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Xiboquinha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Paes to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Hélio Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Senio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isaias Aguilera kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Centeno had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
