Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olov Jönsson in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Herauso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Olov Jönsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Herauso having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Olov Jönsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 19th minute Olov Jönsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Herauso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Jönsson's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Fabio Herauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Björklund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Jönsson in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Herauso saved Club Atletico Fenix from getting behind. Bertil Kielberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fabio Herauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Fenix's zone, Bertil Kielberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Herauso came out of the goal and Bertil Kielberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 36 minutes, Sverker Siggman made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Olov Jönsson took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Herauso. Fabio Herauso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bertil Kielberg was the one to do the kick off. Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olov Jönsson in the 51st minute of play. In the 58th minute, Bertil Kielberg made a precise shot to the right of Fabio Herauso. Club Atletico Fenix's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Olov Jönssons short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Fabio Herauso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabio Herauso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bertil Kielberg in the 67th minute. The referee ignored Club Atletico Fenix's protests and gave Ismael Chuan a yellow card for diving instead. Ismael Chuan hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match.
