Elpidio Erauso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Valrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jakob Ström charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Ström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, DFP's Jakob Ström got a free kick in the 15th minute. If Roman Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Elpidio Erauso successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Joseph Dalman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of Elpidio Erauso when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Olov Berggren made in the 36th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joseph Dalman. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Elpidio Erauso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting a goal against them. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Elpidio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerry Mattsson in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Isauro in the 45th minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Eric Lilja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Isauro to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Marco Isauro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of DFP's Eric Lilja. Eric Lilja was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The DFP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joseph Dalman in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Erauso saved Club Dep. Union Madereros from getting behind. Club Dep. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
