In the 10th minute, Christer Lindberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, DFP's Joseph Dalman got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, Roman Florinio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Dep. Union Madereros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Elpidio Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joseph Dalman in the 21st minute of the match. Club Dep. Union Madereros's Elpidio Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Dalman in the 23rd minute of play. If Roman Florinio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute, George Alebom made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Erauso. Club Dep. Union Madereros's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Alebom in the 29th minute of play forced Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Elpidio Erauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, George Alebom managed to get in a good position for a shot. DFP's supporters rose to their feet, but George Alebom was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elpidio Erauso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute George Alebom shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Erauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Dep. Union Madereros booed when DFP was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt-Åke Stephansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Marco Isauro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eric Lilja was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joseph Dalman to strike the kick off in the second half. Elpidio Erauso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joseph Dalman went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. In the 58th minute of the game Olov Berggren made a throw-in which Patric Almkvist played forward. 59 minutes into the match, Club Dep. Union Madereros's goalkeeper Elpidio Erauso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patric Almkvist. Elpidio Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bengt-Åke Stephansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Elpidio Erauso came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by DFP's Patric Almkvist. But to his dismay, Patric Almkvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Patric Almkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Elof Lund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes, Club Dep. Union Madereros's Nemesio Sazon shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eric Lilja came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club Dep. Union Madereros reached it. The DFP fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when DFP's Joseph Dalman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A throw-in in the 79th minute of the game was made by Olov Berggren with Christer Lindberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Christer Lindberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Elpidio Erauso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Maximiliano Misael made a precise shot to the right of Eric Lilja. DFP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-5. In the 93rd minute of the match, Joseph Dalman got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elpidio Erauso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maximiliano Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
