Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 minutes, Ernesto de Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cachaça FC and the Furia Albiceleste players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the game, Furia Albiceleste's Aristides Tabor nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelinho Teles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. With a little luck, Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles got control of the ball when Aristides Tabor tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelinho Teles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Birila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Furia Albiceleste booed when Cachaça FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Aquiles Jakobe threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cachaça FC's Carlos Alberto Vargas quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With his leg Marcelinho Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Furia Albiceleste's Aristides Tabor fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Aristides Tabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 19thth minute tested the skills of Marcelinho Teles when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Marcelinho Teles didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Furia Albiceleste's Aristides Tabor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aristides Tabor in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Nascimento hit a great ball. Edgard Birila, 34 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Furia Albiceleste's Pascual Orixe got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Cachaça FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute of the match, Edgard Birila tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelinho Teles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After some careless play in the Cachaça FC defense, Aristides Tabor kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelinho Teles. The Cachaça FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelinho Teles should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto de Godoi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52nd play minutes Aristides Tabor shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Marcelinho Teles and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 57th minute, Carlos Alberto Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience cheered when Edgard Birila's long shot passed Marcelinho Teles's right side. It was 6-0, 58 minutes into the match. After 66 played minutes Cachaça FC got a freekick which was hit by Dito Bezerra. In the 69thth minute of the game Aristides Tabor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachaça FC's Marcelinho Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aristides Tabor struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Marcelinho Teles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Furia Albiceleste. After a rather tough play, Furia Albiceleste's Aquiles Jakobe got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marcelinho Teles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aristides Tabor, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Cachaça FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Tabor came free, but Marcelinho Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelinho Teles stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Tabor's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 87 played minutes Furia Albiceleste got a freekick which was hit by Edgard Birila. 90 minutes into the match, Furia Albiceleste's goalkeeper Guillermo Caradaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto de Godoi. After a rather tough play, Furia Albiceleste's Fidel Primeiro got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Ernesto de Godoi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Guillermo Caradaro made a huge save. Furia Albiceleste walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
