After 6 played minutes, AFC Nirosxn 08's Iacob Marioteanu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Apolo Tristan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Nirosxn 08 reached it. 11 minutes into the match, Jeremias Policarpio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AFC Nirosxn 08's Emil Lunca. Emil Lunca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when AFC Nirosxn 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Marioteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apolo Tristan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Radovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, AFC Nirosxn 08's Iacob Marioteanu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Iacob Marioteanu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of AFC Nirosxn 08 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Iacob Marioteanu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of MDQ Raptors FC booed when AFC Nirosxn 08 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iacob Marioteanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcos Onofre took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emil Lunca. AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Onofre in the 26th minute of play forced AFC Nirosxn 08's goalkeeper Emil Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Emil Lunca managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when MDQ Raptors FC's Marcos Onofre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 38th minute, Albano Rameriz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes AFC Nirosxn 08 got a freekick which was hit by Petre Moisil. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Onofre to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Marcos Onofre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudiu Radovan struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Apolo Tristan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Nirosxn 08. Claudiu Radovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Tristan having to interfere. Romeo Toma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Apolo Tristan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. AFC Nirosxn 08's Claudiu Radovan got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MDQ Raptors FC's Albano Rameriz got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Apolo Tristan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the AFC Nirosxn 08 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for MDQ Raptors FC.
