Spectators: 163 (Terracing: 123, Seating: 37, VIP seats: 3) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Olívio Salgado made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute of the match Lucílio Aveiro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but German Isaio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Beltxe during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Esmeralda AFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Vicente Beltxe hit a great ball. Bacardi Black Bats's Lucílio Aveiro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by German Isaio but with some difficulty. David Garcez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. German Isaio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. German Isaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Garcez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Albano Nazario managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esmeralda AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Nazario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abílio Castelo Branco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the game, Bacardi Black Bats's Ricardo Nogueira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. German Isaio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 27 minutes into the match, Bacardi Black Bats's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Mon came free, but Abílio Castelo Branco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abílio Castelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Cordaryal in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Esmeralda AFC booed when Bacardi Black Bats was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nuno Vasconcelos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Garcez during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bacardi Black Bats's David Garcez got a free kick in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Albano Nazario to strike the kick off in the second half. Abílio Castelo Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Mon in the 52nd minute of the match. After 53 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by David Garcez. Abílio Castelo Branco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Cordaryal got free with Abílio Castelo Branco in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. David Garcez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mateus Peralta's late challenge caught a Esmeralda AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mateus Peralta helped the player get up and apologised. Mateus Peralta hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Garcez in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg German Isaio saved Esmeralda AFC from getting behind. 74 minutes into the game, David Garcez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. German Isaio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aquilino Mon took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abílio Castelo Branco. Abílio Castelo Branco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. When Laércio Águas fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bacardi Black Bats's protests and gave Laércio Águas a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Bacardi Black Bats got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Águas. German Isaio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Garcez, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling David Garcez in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck German Isaio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Esmeralda AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
