Angelo Urbani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Dekens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Coriano FC booed when Homegrown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Caluwé didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angelo Urbani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Verweijen in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes, Dirk Enting mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Homegrown and the Coriano FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Homegrown fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 19th minute. Penalty! 22 minutes into the match, Homegrown's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Tullo came free, but Geale Scheper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Homegrown's Marcel Wagenaar got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Geale Scheper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugenio Caniglia, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Geale Scheper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Caniglia in the 28th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Homegrown got a freekick which was hit by Dirk Enting. Beppe Andreola might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geale Scheper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Caniglia in the 32nd minute of play forced Homegrown's goalkeeper Geale Scheper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Melvin Jurjens to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute Camillo Luongo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Geale Scheper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fedele Di Blasio's late challenge caught a Homegrown's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fedele Di Blasio helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the match, Coriano FC's Eugenio Caniglia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Geale Scheper narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Fedele Di Blasio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geale Scheper was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Melvin Jurjens struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Angelo Urbani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Homegrown. 74 minutes into the game, Ennio Piola was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coriano FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Homegrown the free kick. In the 74th match minute, Coriano FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ennio Piola to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Urbani made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Melvin Jurjens sent off a good shot on target. Camillo Luongo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geale Scheper having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Homegrown's goal looked a bit too open when Eugenio Caniglia came free, but Geale Scheper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Homegrown's zone, Eugenio Caniglia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geale Scheper came out of the goal and Eugenio Caniglia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Camillo Luongo succeeded in the game's 96th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-0. For all the effort they put into the match, the Homegrown players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Coriano FC.
