In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind KFC Cromvelde's goalkeeper Daniel Rokeloos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Roy Van Hoovelt fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Cromvelde's protests and gave Roy Van Hoovelt a yellow card for diving instead. In the 17th match minute, KFC Cromvelde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roy Van Hoovelt to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Eustaquio Tiadoro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Rokeloos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 23 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Bertin came free, but Daniel Rokeloos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomm Van Calster in the 25th minute of play forced Bendito Sea El Fernet's goalkeeper Tomás Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Rokeloos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Bertin's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Eustaquio Tiadoro made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniel Rokeloos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 31 minutes into the game, Boris Rokeloos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Cromvelde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bendito Sea El Fernet the free kick. After 31 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Boris Rokeloos. 35 minutes into the game, Tomm Van Calster cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Tomás Maule was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Daniel Rokeloos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Tiadoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Tibau Huybreghts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KFC Cromvelde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bendito Sea El Fernet the free kick. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibau Huybreghts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 played minutes, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Rokeloos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bendito Sea El Fernet reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomm Van Calster made a kick off. In the 57th minute of the match, Mario Tipi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daniel Rokeloos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wilfredo Igon hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Eustaquio Tiadoro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Rokeloos firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 66th minute Baldomiro Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Rokeloos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Baldomiro Guerrero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Daniel Rokeloos. Daniel Rokeloos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. The supporters of Bendito Sea El Fernet booed when KFC Cromvelde was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibau Huybreghts didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Bendito Sea El Fernet's Eustaquio Tiadoro made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gregorie Van Herck kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 minutes, Arne Weba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KFC Cromvelde and the Bendito Sea El Fernet players grew even worse after the yellow card. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
