The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Ugarte got free with Cleto Indalecio in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Horacio Jakobe hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Cleto Indalecio got control of the ball when Delgado Guemez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Abalos came free, but Uriel Sandines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Carnot booed when Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Jakobe. The supporters of Deportivo Pomelo Nenene booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position.
