After a rather tough play, Gärsnäs BF's Kjell-Arne Malm got a free kick in the 23rd minute. If Boyd Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the game, Stig-Ove Bengtsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gärsnäs BF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topsail the free kick. Stig-Ove Bengtsson kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Topsail fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Gärsnäs BF. Krister Fridlund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Eldridge Talon. 0-1. 35 minutes into the match, Topsail's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Fridlund came free, but Eldridge Talon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Krister Fridlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Krister Fridlund made the kick off in the second half. Eldridge Talon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Malm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 55 minutes, Kjell-Arne Malm managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gärsnäs BF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kjell-Arne Malm was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eldridge Talon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Lindell in the 61st minute. In the 62nd match minute, Topsail was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donovan Hachée to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Topsail's Eldridge Talon got control of the ball when Kjell-Arne Malm tried to sneak it across the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Boyd Baxter cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joel Wall was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th match minute, Gärsnäs BF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenneth Albohm to maneuver through the defense. Krister Fridlund struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Eldridge Talon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gärsnäs BF. Eldridge Talon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fred Lindell in the 85th minute. Joel Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabrice Dunn, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fred Lindell got free with Eldridge Talon in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gärsnäs BF were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Topsail to leave the ground with a draw.
