In the 8th minute, Emil Walstra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Barrenta SC's Marcelinho Peixoto got a free kick in the 12th minute. Barrenta SC's Remo Falcão was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. De Kasteelheren's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Hernani Couto scored to the left of an out of position Alfred Oevermans, making the score, 3-0. Angelo Cabral hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ferdi Carels hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Remo Falcão made a precise shot to the right of Alfred Oevermans. De Kasteelheren's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The supporters of De Kasteelheren booed when Barrenta SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernani Couto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st match minute, De Kasteelheren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitrie Kroon to maneuver through the defense. With 87 minutes on the clock, Ferdi Carels commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Luís Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Barrenta SC were the better team. Barrenta SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
