The referee ignored Ayapaso's protests and gave Blas Viator a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso's Blas Viator got a free kick in the 5th minute. Gavino Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gualterio Quilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, LA LUZ F.C.'s Maximo Beltxe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Cristos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Maximo Beltxe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ayapaso's Cesar Aritza got a free kick in the 19th minute. Gavino Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosme Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Gavino Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingo Bermund in the 22nd minute of play. Gavino Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Quilo in the 23rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Cosme Fonda put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gavino Cristos. In the 28th minute, Gualterio Quilo made a precise shot to the right of Gavino Cristos. Ayapaso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Gavino Cristos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Fonda in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of LA LUZ F.C. booed when Ayapaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marco Martxot came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the LA LUZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Martxot couldn't finish the play. Gavino Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Fonda's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The Ayapaso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA LUZ F.C. were winning 0-3.

LA LUZ F.C.'s Flavio Galo was substituted for Domingo Bermund. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cosme Fonda to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Fonda in the 55th minute of play forced Ayapaso's goalkeeper Gavino Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ayapaso's Lucio Luzaide got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucio Luzaide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Dalmacio Baudelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gavino Cristos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme Fonda's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. LA LUZ F.C.'s Marco Martxot got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 91st match minute, LA LUZ F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Quilo to maneuver through the defense. LA LUZ F.C.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
