In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Överås BK's goalkeeper Joar Beneth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The tension between the Överås BK and the the sword of Damocles players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 36 played minutes Överås BK got a freekick which was hit by Casper Askberg. A collision led to Överås BK getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Edmund Springfält hit a great ball. Joar Beneth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 程夕超's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Överås BK's Joar Beneth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 白铮铮 in the 46th minute of play. The Överås BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. the sword of Damocles were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anders Ahlquist was the one to do the kick off. 白铮铮 might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joar Beneth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 白铮铮 ran back to his position shaking his head. Edmund Springfält hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when 程夕超 got free with Joar Beneth in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, 程夕超 managed to get in a good position for a shot. the sword of Damocles's supporters rose to their feet, but 程夕超 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joar Beneth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
