After having played for 41 minutes, Ivaylo Yordanov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cefero Juarros in the 87th minute of play forced Sporting Clube de Gaya's goalkeeper Donato Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sporting Clube de Gaya defense, Diogo Villarin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donato Viana. The Sporting Clube de Gaya fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donato Viana should have stopped the shot. Cefero Juarros might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Viana. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
