Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cassiano Cesário, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Motta Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Juninho Pombal hit a great ball. Fabrício Graça received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Christiano Guimarães tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Motta Futebol Clube players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. G.D Vitória de Sernache were winning 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Vidal made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ezequiel Matorin in the 52nd minute of play forced G.D Vitória de Sernache's goalkeeper Cassiano Cesário to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Motta Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrício Graça came free, but Christiano Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cassiano Cesário stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlinhos Vidal's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Óscar Bulhosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christiano Guimarães having to interfere. After a rather tough play, G.D Vitória de Sernache's António Serpa got a free kick in the 64th minute. Cassiano Cesário stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Nogueira's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Motta Futebol Clube's Christiano Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabrício Graça in the 70th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, G.D Vitória de Sernache got a penalty, and António Serpa placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Cassiano Cesário made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joélson Nogueira in the 95th minute of play. The Motta Futebol Clube supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching G.D Vitória de Sernache's performance. The match ended with a win for G.D Vitória de Sernache.
