Bogdan Zagrobelny's late challenge caught a Svartvallstjärnens IF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogdan Zagrobelny helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tor Målare in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marek Gdowik saved ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź from getting behind. Bogdan Zagrobelny hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź's Bogdan Zagrobelny got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 27th minute Arkadiusz Zaworski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birger Wassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute of the match, Tor Målare tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marek Gdowik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marek Gdowik made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Tor Målare sent off a good shot on target. A nice corner shot did that Alfons Lövskog got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marek Gdowik quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 45 played minutes Svartvallstjärnens IF got a freekick which was hit by Ralf Hagberg. In the 47th minute, Bogdan Zagrobelny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Målare made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Svartvallstjärnens IF's zone, Kazimierz Miazga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birger Wassenius came out of the goal and Kazimierz Miazga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arkadiusz Zaworski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Birger Wassenius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kazimierz Miazga in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Tor Målare managed to get in a good position for a shot. Svartvallstjärnens IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Tor Målare was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marek Gdowik breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the match, Svartvallstjärnens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Stasio Marosz came free, but Birger Wassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Boguslaw Fafinski hit a great ball. Arkadiusz Zaworski's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Birger Wassenius firmly grabbed it by the left post. Olof Fridlund kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Kazimierz Miazga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Birger Wassenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Stasio Marosz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Birger Wassenius. That made the score 0-1 in the 79 minute of play. In the 86th match minute, Svartvallstjärnens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roger Wallgren to maneuver through the defense. Arkadiusz Zaworski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The ◄19A10► Widzew Łódź players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
