Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th match minute, Gastres FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Bertran to maneuver through the defense.

Aurelio Baladi took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruce Nesbitt. Bruce Nesbitt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 59 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Baladi came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 67 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Mon. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Godfredo Oihan hit a great ball. In the 79th match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dante Paquette to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Aurelio Baladi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Nesbitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot by Godfredo Oihan from long distance, 84 minutes into the match, got Bruce Nesbitt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With 89 minutes on the clock, Rodrigo Mon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card.
