In the 21st minute Allan Almqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Telesforo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacobo Telesforo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joseph Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Atlético Matorrales getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aldo Leoiar hit a great ball. After 30 minutes, Allan Almqvist made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Matorrales's Jacobo Telesforo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC NILS's Joseph Örn got a free kick in the 34th minute. Joseph Örn took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacobo Telesforo. Jacobo Telesforo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Kjell Olofsson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Allan Almqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jacobo Telesforo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. The FC NILS fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when FC NILS's Allan Almqvist looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FC NILS made a substitution. Sten Gerdberg replaced Ulf Apelkvist. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Allan Almqvist made the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Telesforo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Allan Almqvist's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Julio Obeko's late challenge caught a FC NILS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julio Obeko helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of FC NILS booed when Atlético Matorrales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Obeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erik Wästerberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Telesforo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Allan Almqvist in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Telesforo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 78 minutes Atlético Matorrales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kjell Olofsson who took care of the corner kick. Allan Almqvist who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Telesforo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Atlético Matorrales's Jacobo Telesforo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joseph Örn in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Atlético Matorrales's Hermengildo Firme got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84thth minute of the game Allan Almqvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Matorrales's Jacobo Telesforo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC NILS walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
