Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mihail Ştoia kicked off to start the match. Jânio Palmeira made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Mihail Ştoia sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th match minute, F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horia Pintea to maneuver through the defense. When Caco Lira came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Taura Cupincha-U18 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caco Lira couldn't finish the play. Cătălin Mereuță's late challenge caught a Taura Cupincha-U18's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Mereuță helped the player get up and apologised. Cătălin Mereuță hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Radu Sântimbrean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Delfim do Vale went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Augustin Andreescu got a free kick in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delfim do Vale in the 18th minute of play forced F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s goalkeeper Radu Sântimbrean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute of the match Augustin Andreescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jânio Palmeira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Radu Sântimbrean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delfim do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Taura Cupincha-U18's Jânio Palmeira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Taura Cupincha-U18 from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Delfim do Vale left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taura Cupincha-U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Radu Sântimbrean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Faustão Lima went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s Mihail Ştoia got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Taura Cupincha-U18 booed when F.C.DrobetA-Știința- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Rădulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Cătălin Mereuță dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jânio Palmeira, 1-4. The F.C.DrobetA-Știința- players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taura Cupincha-U18 were winning 1-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válter Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Cătălin Mereuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jânio Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Delfim do Vale had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Radu Sântimbrean. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delfim do Vale was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. In the 57th minute, Válter Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taura Cupincha-U18 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. Radu Sântimbrean made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Válter Tróia sent off a good shot on target. Augustin Andreescu kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. In the 76th minute Delfim do Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Sântimbrean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute, Taura Cupincha-U18's Faustão Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Radu Sântimbrean. Radu Sântimbrean yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-7. Maicon Tepedino took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Radu Sântimbrean. Radu Sântimbrean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-8. 88 minutes into the game, Cătălin Stana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C.DrobetA-Știința-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taura Cupincha-U18 the free kick. Taura Cupincha-U18's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
