In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC MARKUS's goalkeeper Jedrzej Podolski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, FC MARKUS's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Martin came free, but Jedrzej Podolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jedrzej Podolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Martin, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nemo Kersken got free with Jedrzej Podolski in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC MARKUS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Barnabas Nordmann was slow to take the kick. During this time Green Aaper Forestibexes's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Green Aaper Forestibexes's Ehrhard Kremer to fire away a dangerous shot which Jedrzej Podolski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 19 in the game by Nemo Kersken from a close distance when the talented Jedrzej Podolski managed to make a qualified save. FC MARKUS's players were relieved. In the 22nd minute, Konrad Wykowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC MARKUS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Manuel Martin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jedrzej Podolski having to interfere. Jedrzej Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Martin in the 31st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nemo Kersken's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jedrzej Podolski was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Nemo Kersken who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Jedrzej Podolski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jedrzej Podolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nemo Kersken's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. With a little luck, FC MARKUS's Jedrzej Podolski got control of the ball when Nemo Kersken tried to sneak it across the goal line. Manuel Martin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jedrzej Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Martin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Green Aaper Forestibexes's Frederik Hoppe got control of the ball when Konrad Wykowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jedrzej Podolski came out of the goal and Gottfried Razavi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
