When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Cipriano Pinho took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Domenico Allegretti to make any attempt to save it. In the 12th minute, Agua Santa's Enrique Abreu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tomé Mota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Giacomozzi went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. When Franco Giacomozzi came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Cesano Boscone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franco Giacomozzi couldn't finish the play. Alessandro Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Franco Giacomozzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Tomé Mota was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Agua Santa's Cipriano Pinho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Domenico Allegretti. That made the score 3-2 after 30 minutes of play. Domenico Allegretti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Quintal, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With 37 minutes on the clock, Ernesto Velloso commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A hard shot 42 in the game by Enrique Abreu from a close distance when the talented Domenico Allegretti managed to make a qualified save. Cesano Boscone's players were relieved. Cipriano Pinho succeeded in the game's 45th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franco Giacomozzi was the one to do the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Enrique Abreu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cesano Boscone's Domenico Allegretti was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domenico Allegretti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Pinho in the 66th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cesano Boscone's zone, Nico Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domenico Allegretti came out of the goal and Nico Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cipriano Pinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Agua Santa's Cipriano Pinho in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Agua Santa:s Tomé Mota showed great skill when he stopped Edmondo Pilla:s penalty. In the 84th minute Cesano Boscone were awarded a corner. Edmondo Pilla went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cesano Boscone's Edmondo Pilla to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomé Mota despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 85 minutes into the game, Enrique Abreu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-3. Domenico Allegretti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute of the game, Jânio Arantes landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 94 minutes, Fulvio Caponera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cesano Boscone and the Agua Santa players grew even worse after the yellow card.
