The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when POSSE 1911 FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anibal Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Poirier struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Feliberto Gaskon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind POSSE 1911 FC's goalkeeper Feliberto Gaskon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Silvestre Cesario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Josef Poirier kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Feliberto Gaskon. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. If Victor Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Flores got free with Feliberto Gaskon in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of POSSE 1911 FC booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davis Stubbs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Josef Poirier to strike the kick off in the second half. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eustacio Honesto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Feliberto Gaskon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Josef Poirier went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to POSSE 1911 FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Amancio Furman hit a great ball. In the 76th match minute, POSSE 1911 FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amancio Furman to maneuver through the defense. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Vito Lange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Madaleno in the 83rd minute of play.
